Registration

Global Health EDCTP3 and the EDCTP Association, in partnership with the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the Fundación CSAI (FCSAI) under the Ministry of Health, welcome you to the EDCTP Forum 2027 at the IFEMA Palacio Municipal, Madrid, Spain, from 5 to 9 April 2027. Up to 1,500 participants from across the globe are expected to attend in person.

Registration for the EDCTP Forum 2027 is only available for in-person participation. Registration is mandatory to attend the Forum sessions.

Registration of presenting authors of abstracts, scientific symposia and workshops

Abstract authors (including scholarship candidates) and chairs or speakers of scientific symposia and workshops are advised to wait until the evaluations of applications are completed before registering for the Forum. Those selected for abstracts and scientific symposia will receive additional registration instructions after the evaluation process is finished. For more details about the evaluation procedure, please refer to the abstract, scientific symposia and workshop pages on the EDCTP Forum website.

Participation in the Forum

Participation in the EDCTP 2027 Forum is free of charge. However, all participants are responsible for organising their own travel, accommodation, visa, and insurance arrangements, as well as covering the associated costs (except for delegates sponsored by Global Health EDCTP3 and scholarship recipients).

Participation in the EDCTP Forum includes:

Access to all sessions, including the opening ceremony, plenary sessions, parallel sessions, symposium sessions, as well as sponsored satellite meetings and workshops.
Access to the exhibitors and poster presentations area
Meals as indicated in the Forum programme
Access to the Forum social events as indicated in the programme
One Forum bag
Digital certificate of attendance provided post-Forum.

Multiple registrations

The system will not accept multiple registrations with the same email address.

Confirmation of registration

Delegates will receive an automatic email upon the successful submission of their registration. They are advised not to make any travel arrangements until they have received a confirmation email indicating that their registration has been accepted.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@edctpforum.eu. Global Health EDCTP3 will not be responsible for refunding airfare, hotel or any other costs incurred.

Substitution policy

If a delegate is unable to attend the Forum, the registrant may request to transfer the registration to another person by contacting info@edctpforum.eu before 15 March 2027.

Cancellation of the event

If the EDCTP Forum cannot be held or is delayed due to circumstances beyond the control of Global Health EDCTP3 (force majeure), Global Health EDCTP3 shall not be liable for any damage, costs, or losses resulting from the cancellation or delay, including (but not limited to) expenses for transportation and accommodation.

Liability

Delegates shall participate in the EDCTP Forum at their own risk. Global Health EDCTP3 does not take responsibility for insurance (medical, travel, personal). By registering for the Forum, delegates assume responsibility for their own insurance and are advised to take out insurance for their attendance.

Travel and accommodation (non-sponsored delegates)

Delegates are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Travel and accommodation (only for sponsored delegates)

Global Health EDCTP3 and the EDCTP Association will arrange flight reservations and accommodation for invited delegates, speakers, and scholarship recipients. A per diem may be paid under certain circumstances. To be eligible to this allowance, sponsored delegates must sign a daily attendance list. Further information will be provided to sponsored delegates upon the confirmation of their sponsorship.

Admittance

Global Health EDCTP3 reserves the right to terminate the participation of any delegate in the Forum who behaves in a manner that could be disruptive to the event or pose a danger to others.

Speakers, Sponsors and Exhibitors

The views expressed by any delegate, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor at the EDCTP Forum are their own. Global Health EDCTP3 shall not be liable for any views expressed by any delegate, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor at the EDCTP Forum or in any related materials.

Photography and Video

Photos and videos may be taken during the event. They may be used for publication on the Forum website and on Global Health EDCTP3 and EDCTP Association social media channels and publications. Plenary sessions may be live-streamed, recorded and made available on the internet.

Data Protection

All data provided in connection with the EDCTP Forum 2027 may be processed in accordance with the Global Health EDCTP3 Privacy Policy.
