The theme of the 13th EDCTP Forum is Innovating together for resilient global health.
The event will take place in Madrid, Spain, on 5-9 April 2027 at the IFEMA Palacio Municipal. 1,500 participants are expected in person.

The biennial EDCTP Forum is a cornerstone event for global health research, bringing together leading voices advancing the fight against infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa. It showcases the latest scientific breakthroughs, highlights impactful capacity-building efforts, and creates a space for vibrant cross-regional collaboration.
The EDCTP Forum 2027 is expected to include plenary sessions, parallel sessions, scientific symposia, prize-giving ceremonies, a poster exhibition, sponsored satellite sessions, workshops, networking opportunities and field visits.
